Strong nails… Well, to be honest, my strong nails are genetic, so I didn’t have to do much for them. I’m sure there are people out there who aren’t as lucky as me, so I researched some tips on keeping strong and healthy nails.
Try to keep your nails out of the water! When they soak in water, they become soft. Not what you want to do.
Vitamin C!!! Vitamin C helps to grow strong nails. So you’d have to eat oranges, apples, broccoli, etc. (Vitamin C also helps to improve long hair)..also, check out Biotin too...
DON’T BITE THEM!!! That has to be the worst thing you can do to your nails. I’ve known lots of girls who have this habit. If you’d like to stop, just put nail polish remover on the tips of your fingers. Not the best flavor. Ha-ha!
Try to be easy on your nails! Which mostly means, don’t bump them into things or break them.
When trying to grow healthy nails, don’t paint them! You want your nails to become strong, not to be weighed down by nail polish! Especially Gel nail polish! That nail polish is very heavy and thick. Definitely a no-no.
Don’t mess with your cuticles! That means don’t push them down or anything. The only thing you want to do with your nail cuticles is moisturize them. When you do that, it helps the nail become stronger- and provides more protection. When their dry, it’s more easy for them to break.
Well, that’s all I can give today. If this wasn’t enough for you, please check out the link below. That website will provide you with more to what you need to do for keeping strong, healthy nails.
