You ask what I mean? I mean a yoga mat. No, it doesn't matter if you say you're too FAT, not FLEXIBLE enough, not STRONG enough, do it. Push all those nasty words away. They don't matter.
All you have to do is take a deep breath and breathe!
Yoga is the true fountain- of- youth. Did you know that there's a ninety-nine-year old woman who is still doing yoga? "I watch the beauty of nature. It is telling me that even the trees get more beautiful as they age." Says, ninety-nine-year-old Tao Porchon-Lynch.
“No, it doesn't matter if you say you're too FAT, not FLEXIBLE enough, not STRONG enough, do it.”
Yoga helps with everything in your life. Read below and get inspired!
ROLL OUT A MAT!
Yoga isn't just for the skinny type. There's full figured woman out there, who are better at yoga than me!
For example;
Jessamyn Stanley, a yoga teacher who didn't let any of those nasty thoughts get in her way. If you don't believe me, go check out her blog!

Flexibility never was my strongest point. And I've been doing yoga for almost five years! Sadly, I never was able to bend that way. But, that's not why I do yoga.
I started yoga with my mother and older sister in my den, watching the Candlelight Yoga lessons, with little space, not much room at all. But we found room. We made room.
I didn't take it seriously until we got out of the house and went to a real yoga class.
Tamara McGuire, my first yoga teacher. She taught me most of what I know. Sadly, she moved away two years ago.
After she had left, I found out yoga was an essential tool in life.
Once she moved, I didn't do yoga for months. It wasn't a big deal to me. I didn't notice anything about me change. But as soon as my mother and my sister and I stepped into that classroom again, I then realized I needed yoga so much.
There was a new yoga teacher. Her name is Felicia Walsh. Her yoga was entirely different, but after all of my practices with her, her yoga was exactly what I needed. And still, to this day, I walk into that classroom every Thursday and roll out my mat.
Not being strong should never stop you. Especially if your shaking. Shaking is a good thing.
And if you can't bear the shaking, there's always a modified version in every move. But if the modified poses still don't help, just drop down to your knees. Nobody's judging. It's just you and your mind.
Yoga will help you. It'll boost you up. It might even be your new hobby. For example;
My mother, Jennifer, is now a 200-hour R.Y.T. If you don't know what that means, it's a REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER.
Thanks to my teachers, who taught me that yoga isn't just about how far you can go in a move, or about how long you can hold a move. It's about the breath.
So take a deep breath, and exhale slowly. Keep that breath and stand up, touch your toes, reach for the sky, then stand straight. There you go! You did yoga.
Namaste,
Kait the writer.
P.S,
Here are some of the yoga teachers who inspired me the most. Maybe they'll do the same for you!
